Lloyd Daniel ‘Bill’ Barkemeyer, 90, passed away on Feb. 24, 2020, in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Bill was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Marshfield, Oregon, to parents Lawrence and Lucy (Pease) Barkemeyer. He worked in the timber industry before retiring from Weyerhaeuser. He is survived by his children, Larry (Rita) Barkemeyer, Paul (Donya) Barkemeyer, Steven Barkemeyer and Denise Sievers; his grandchildren, Shawnee, James, Savanah, and Eric; and his great-grandchildren, Abenee, Isiah, and Jeremiah. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
