Dennis Roger Lawrence Nov. 2, 1955 – Feb. 25, 2020
Dennis Roger Lawrence, 64, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Feb. 25, 2020.
He was born on Nov. 2, 1955, in Eureka, Calif, to Maxine (Miller) and Roger Lawrence. He attended Creswell High School.
Dennis was a wastewater treatment truck driver for the City of Eugene, a contractor for residential construction, and worked for O&S Contractors as a construction worker and millwright foreman.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, sprint car racing, and playing horseshoes and darts.
He is survived by a son, Brandon (Sarah) Webster, of Sandy, Utah; daughter, Courtney (Travis) Cooper, of Molalla, Ore.; sister, Francis Lawrence, of Cottage Grove; nephew, Joey Carothers, of Cottage Grove; and six grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on May 30 at Dorena Grange, 34360 Row River Road in Cottage Grove.
