Creswell VFW and Auxiliary members assembled 25-plus Christmas care packages. They were full of candy and cookies, new socks, books and a number of personal items to send to our troops. The gifts also included Christmas cards handmade by our Cub Scout Pack 28 and first-grade students from Pleasant Hill Elementary School. The kits have been assembled with care to send to local members of our National Guard (HHC, 2nd Battalion, 162 Infantry Regiment) currently serving in the Middle East.
