Peter “Pete” Dale Anderson, 57, died May 17,2020 in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Pete was born to parents Dale and Josephine (Brown) Anderson on Oct. 18, 1962 in Cottage Grove, Ore.
He gradutated from Cottage Grove High School in 1981. Pete worked in different locations throughout Cottage Grove. He enjoyed walking, drinking Pepsi, going to church, potlucks, picnics, swimming, and spending time with family. Halloween was his favorite holiday and he loved handing out candy to the trick o’ treaters.
Pete was a member of the Church of Christ Sixth and Gibbs where he enjoyed potlucks.
Pete is survived by his mother Josephine Anderson of Cottage Grove; sister Patricia (Gary) Edwards, of Veneta, Ore.; brother Michael Anderson of Cottage Grove; brother Louie (Tina) Anderson of Springfield, Ore.; his nieces Catelynn, Nneka, and Makija. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
A private family Inurnment will be held at Fir Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.
