Cindy Lund

CINDY LUND

Cindy Lund, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 18, 2019, at the age of 62, due to complications of early Alzheimer’s.
Cindy was born on Oct. 4,1956 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Being an ”Army Brat,” she moved around a lot early in life, with her family eventually settling in the Los Angeles area. She earned her associate’s degree in English at Los Angeles Valley College in 1987.
She was well-known for her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, blue eyes and curly blonde hair.
Cindy was in the food service industry for over 45 years. Among her many jobs in food service, she was the manager of the ”old” Creswell Dairy Queen for over five years; manager of TJ’s Family Restaurant and The Koffee Kup for a few years; and manager of Carson Dining at the University of Oregon for over 12 years.
She moved to Creswell in July 1988 and met Jon in September 1989. They were married on Jan. 1, 1994 in their home on East Cloverdale Road. They raised two children together, Wes Cipriotti and Shelby Lund.
Cindy loved going on road trips with her husband in their Volkswagon van. She especially loved Sunset Bay on the Oregon Coast. She loved big trees, the sky and being outdoors. Cindy was also a lover of music and attended several concerts every year with her husband.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Jon; son, Wes; daughter, Shelby; mother, Rose; sister, Luanne; brother, Don Jr.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don DeGraffenreid Sr.
