WALK THE SQUAWK

CRESWELL – Coast Fork Birders invite locals for a bird walk in Creswell on Saturday, Sept. 7.
Wildlife biologist Alison Center will lead the group in a walk visiting grassland, oak and riparian areas known as Creswell Oaks, a ranch located near Creswell and the location of a Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council (CFWWC) restoration project. Dress for the weather, bring your own water, snacks and birding gear, and be prepared to walk on uneven terrain.
Meet promptly at 8 a.m. at the City of Creswell public parking lot at S. 1st and C streets. From there, be ready to caravan and carpool to Creswell Oaks. This is a private property and participants need to meet at the City of Creswell parking lot to participate. There is limited cell phone reception at the site. The caravan will depart at 8:10 a.m., so be on time.
