With a 9-foot Steinway in tow, musician Hunter Noack will roll into South Lane County to deliver the ”In a Landscape” outdoor concert experience on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at the Ken Kesey Farm in Pleasant Hill and again on Thursday, Aug. 15 at Baker City Park in Dorena.
Wander around a gorgeous landscape while listening to live classical music. The music is transmitted via wireless headphones and participants are encouraged to roam the landscape. The Kesey Farm, located at 85829 Ridgeway Road, was home to Kesey and his family.
The farm served as ground zero for his work as a writer, artist, playwright, impresario, prankster and activist. Baker City Park is located at 35635 Shoreview Drive. Last year’s Dorena event was canceled due to rain, so these will be the first performances in the area. This year, performances will go on, rain or shine. This is the project’s fourth year on tour and its first year as a nonprofit. More info: inalandscape.org.
