Symphonic summer sounds

Listen to a symphony in open air on Monday, July 29, at Bohemia Park at the 11th Annual Eugene Symphony Summer Concert. The symphony will be performing a summer concert at 7:30 p.m. The event is free. Summer Concert Program includes excerpts from: Gliere’s ”Russian Sailor’s Dance” from ”The Red Poppy”; Dukas’ ”The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”; Williams’ ”Harry’s Wondrous World” from ”Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”; Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ”’Oklahoma!’ Medley”; Strauss, Jr.’s ”Tritsch-Tratsch Polka”; Miranda’s ”Suite” from ”Hamilton”; and Tchaikovsky’s ”1812 Overture.” There will also be an Instrument Petting Zoo for the young and young-at-heart, starting at 5:30 p.m.
