Run with a Cop on March 31 at Dorris Ranch was sponsored by the Eugene and Springfield Police Department to raise money for the Eugene and Springfield Special Olympics Program. The program offers sporting opportunities to over 350 athletes. At left, runners start their 5K during Run with a Cop on March 31 at Dorris Ranch in Springfield. Around 150 runners registered for the event; the funds raised will go the Eugene and Springfield Special Olympics Program. At right, New Country 93 Radio Host Tim Fox is pictured. Fox registered for Run with a Cop on March 31 because he wanted to support the local police in the area. He added it was a spontaneous decision and he’s happy it’s for a cause; the money supports the Eugene and Springfield Special Olympics Program.
