Camas Swale Medical Clinic: Family-Focused Healthcare

Board Certified in Family Medicine, Doctor Damon Armitage, owner of Camas Swale Medical Clinic, has a lot to offer the Creswell and Eugene communities. He provides services ranging from preventive and routine care to more specialized areas.
Doctor Armitage sees patients of all ages for a variety of conditions, including respiratory illnesses, abdominal pain, infectious diseases, migraines, coordination following hospital visits, preoperative evaluations and more.
Cardiovascular, endocrine and reproductive management, trigger point injections and wound care are other areas of expertise for Doctor Armitage, and Camas Swale Medical Clinic proudly partners with Therapeutic Associates.
Camas Swale Medical Clinic also offers CDC recommended vaccines for both children and adults. Working with Oregon’s Vaccines for Children Program, vaccines are available to uninsured and underinsured children, at little to no cost. Parents interested in this service should call for an appointment.
Doctor Armitage is also a Senior Aeromedical Examiner and offers all classes of FAA examinations, as well as DOT, CDL and sports physicals.
Working with OHSU as an Associate Professor and the Physician Assistant Program, Doctor Armitage assists students during their Family Medicine clinical rotation. Camas Swale Medical Clinic also offers shadowing opportunities to high school students interested in health care careers.
In the coming month, Camas Swale Medical Clinic has two new additions to their facility: a modern digital x-ray room and a new dermatology laser.
The new digital x-ray is underway and can evaluate fractures, musculoskeletal and spinal pain and other injuries on-site. This is especially important because patients previously didn’t have access to imaging in the Creswell area. And, not only does digital x-ray provide high-resolution images, but it also exposes patients to only a fraction of the radiation of conventional imaging.
Also coming in the next few weeks, Camas Swale Medical Clinic will use their new dermatology laser to treat a variety of skin conditions, including scars, stretch marks, prominent blood vessels under the skin and birthmarks.
Camas Swale Medical Clinic is currently accepting new patients. Same-day appointments and walk-ins are available, but to eliminate waiting times, it’s recommended to schedule ahead of time.
