Four Lowell wrestlers reach finals at Monroe tourney

Four Lowell wrestlers reached the finals of a Saturday tournament at Monroe.
Deacon Savio (113), Tyson Brassfield (132), Kasey Erwin (138) and Sebastian Gracin (160) reached the finals.
Savio advanced with 57 second and 4:59 pins, Brassfield 2:33 and 1:08 pins, Erwin a 1:13 pin and 19-4 decision and Garcin a 1:52 pin and 17-0 technical fall.
Justin Corp (120) finished fourth and Odin Sinnett (138) and Andrew Kintzley (285) fifth.
Corp used a 3:35 pin to reach the semis and was edged 3-2 in the third place match while Sinnett finished with a 4-1 record that included 1:28. 2:07 and 1:45 pins and an 11-5 decision and Kintzley rallied from a setback to pin his next two opponents in 2:41 and 4:25.
Kent McIntosh added another fifth at 145 pounds with 1:17, 1:02 and 2:08 pins and a 20-10 decision.
One of McIntosh’s wins was over teammate Gabriel Carroll won had a 53 second pin.
