Owned by Marc and Jen Taylor, Roadrunner Rocks in Creswell is ready for business! After opening on East Oregon Avenue in 2018, Roadrunner Rocks has taken off with the gem collectors in the community.
Roadrunner Rocks contains everything from home decor, small trinkets and locally made jewelry. The Taylors also have several thousand pounds of minerals, fossils and rocks from all over the world.
The Taylors like to gather unique pieces in their travels, but specialize in amethyst, featuring rare formations and odd inclusions. Roadrunner Rocks has over 1,400 minerals in stock and even offers custom gem cabochons and lapidary work.
In the spring, Roadrunner Rocks will host several educational and fun field trips for children, focusing on rocks, minerals and geology. Also in the works, Roadrunner Rocks plans to have an on-site dinosaur dig site and gem mine. The Taylors have even been known to give presentations at museums and local schools.
