Two dead, two arrested in Eugene shooting

EUGENE — Last week, shots fired at a Eugene home lead to the death of two people, and the subsequent arrest of two others. 

The Eugene Police Department received a call of shots fired at 2810 W. 18th Ave. on Jan. 19 around 11:14 p.m.

Arriving units found Breanna Don Dapron, 20, of Creswell, suffering from life-threatening injuries. She later succumbed to her injuries at an area hospital. Dylan Wayne George, 31, was found deceased inside the residence.

Dejuan Debrail Stevens and Vaughn Pierre Derry Jr., both 24-year-old Eugene residents were arrested and charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree and one count of Robbery in the First Degree.  

EPD believes this was a targeted incident and that investigation is ongoing. EPD asks that anyone with information about this case to contact the tip line at 541-682-5162.
