Springfield, OR – Join Springfield Public Library for a free showing of the timeless whodunit Murder on the Orient Express (1974) at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 16th at the Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield.

About the movie:
Hercule Poirot, world renowned private detective and Sleuth extraordinaire, departs on the famous luxury train, The Orient Express, on his way to London from Istanbul. The train strangely booked a larger number of passengers than usual, but Hercule settles in for a restful ride all the same. That is until a wealthy American named Ratchett tries to hire Poirot to be his eyes and ears on the train, for he fears that someone is out to do him in. Hercule declines, but soon Ratchett’s fears are fully realized when he is found dead. Now Poirot must undertake his most famous murder mystery. Hosting the most Star-Studded cast ever assembled, Agatha Christie’s most famous novel is brilliantly adapted in this classic Mystery film.
