March Science on Tap

Join us on March 24th for another great Science on Tap Event!

We’ll be welcoming Megan Schaap, Transplant Lead and Nursery Crew Member as well as Payton Hazelton , Propagation Lead and Nursery Crew Member at Dorena Genetic Resource Center for a presentation about the History and Science behind the USDA Forest Service’s regional service center for genetics in the Pacific Northwest Region.

Members of Dorena GRC nursery will discuss the various programs and roles of the Dorena Genetic Resource Center and provide some background on how the facility has evolved through the decades, as well as the genetics and restoration goals they are currently working towards.
