Soulful Stories Presents: An Equestrian-Inspired Literacy Event

Join us on Saturday, May 3, 2025, for a unique collaboration with Solid Strides. Our featured book, My Daddy is a Cowboy, will be read aloud by a special guest!✨ My Daddy is a Cowboy tells the story of a young Panamanian American girl who shares an early morning horseback ride with her father through their city. This “just-us time” allows them to bond deeply, with the father sharing cowboy stories that instill a sense of strength and confidence in his daughter, leading her to proudly declare herself a cowboy alongside her father.

Event Highlights:
First 30 registrants will receive a free copy of My Daddy is a Cowboy!
Interactive Q&A session with the special guest reader.
Hands-on craft activity for students inspired by the book.
Parents/Guardians will receive a resource guide to continue learning and literacy practice at home.
Snacks provided for all attendees.
