Dashing after a mysterious white rabbit, Young Alice accidentally tumbles down, down, down into a most peculiar world. Wonderland is full of mad tea parties, nonsense poems, a croquet-playing Queen, and a Jabberwocky. Notably absent is a clear path home. As things become curiouser and curiouser, Alice relies on cryptic clues from The Caterpillar, Humpty Dumpty, and — of course — the Cheshire Cat while seeking her way. This adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by a playwright who grew up at Cottage Theatre will appeal to you whether your own journey through the looking glass was last week or decades ago.
