3rd SATURDAY BIRD WALK INFO HERE!

The 3rd Saturday Bird Walk on August 16 will be at Clearwater Park in Springfield and led by Donna Albino. We will meet at 8:00am in the first parking lot near the Clearwater Park Disc Golf Course. 2400 Clearwater Ln, Springfield, OR 97478. See map link at the end of this announcement.

The walk will be 2 -2 ½ hours long. We will be walking mostly on paved (bike) paths, and a short path of fine gravel. Restrooms are available in the parking area. Consider bringing weather appropriate items such as water, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.

We will start by walking to a hidden little pond off to the left side of the Rd, and hopefully the mosquitos will be past their party time! After checking the River boat/ramp, we’ll head out along the bike path to the Creek Bridge and a bit beyond. There will be lots of confusing songs of ” baby babble” along with challenges of plumages and eye colors of immature/juveniles.
