CRESWELL – Kyle Kordon, an educator with Eugene 4J schools, was named Creswell’s athletic director and high school vice principal, said school superintendent Mike Johnson.
Kordon will start July 1, and his “transition” will begin immediately, he said.

A graduate from Pleasant Hill, Kordon has nearly a decade of teaching experience in Eugene. He received an ACE Award (A Champion in Education) by the Eugene district, the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, and the Eugene Education Association. He was also a finalist for Eugene’s 4J Golden Apple Award for Administrator of the Year (2024-25). He earned his Master’s degree in Curriculum and Teaching and an Administrative License from the University of Oregon.

Kordon replaces Brandon Standridge, who leaves June 30 for the athletic director role at Class 4A North Bend High School.
In December, the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) presented Standridge with the Quality Program Recognition award.
