The annual Movie Night at the Firehouse & Safety Fair will be held Friday, Sept. 14 in Creswell and Saturday, Sept. 15 in Cottage Grove.This event, put on by South Lane County Fire & Rescue, will be their last big event until Breakfast with Santa this December.
Activities begin at 6 p.m. There will be a Jaws of Life demonstration, LifeFlight will be onsite and there will also be an inflatable slide and safety booths to peruse. There will be free popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs and beverages. Be sure to bring a lawn chair and a blanket. The movies start at dusk. In Creswell on Friday, the movie playing is ”Ferdinand” at Station 203, 55 N. 1st St. The movie playing in Cottage Grove on Saturday is, ”Coco” at Station 201, 233 Harrison Ave. These movies are rated for children and were selected by a local elementary class.
